Landlord Requirements

Thank you for your interest in placing a listing with the Off-Campus Housing website. Together we can help students find appropriate housing. Before placing your listing, we ask that you meet two basic requirements.

Foremost, we want to be certain that we are complying with federal and state laws; therefore, we require that non-discrimination forms be signed by all landlords who wish to list their rental properties through our office. If this form is already on file with our office, there is no need to fill out another copy.

The second requirement that must be met is that all landlords listing rental properties inside Morgantown city limits provide a current copy of their letter of compliance with the Morgantown Housing Code for each unit to be listed. Your listing will not be approved and appear on the website until all necessary paperwork is submitted. For more detailed compliance information, please contact the Morgantown Housing Inspector at 304-284-7401.

I hope you will find the site beneficial and easy to use. If you have difficulties, please contact me directly and I will be happy to assist you. Please note that, while you will be able to add and delete properties, I have the final say as to what appears on the website. In other words, if any inappropriate items are found in your listing, you will have your posting privileges suspended immediately.
