Carrie Sergi - Attorney for Students
JD, West Virginia University College of Law, 2003; BA, College of Wooster (OH), 1997. Ms Sergi clerked for the Honorable Robert B. Stone, Circuit Court Judge for the 17th Judicial Circuit (Monongalia County) of West Virginia from 2003-2005. Ms. Sergi worked for West Virginia University Hospitals from 2005-2006 as a Contract Specialist negotiating contracts with various health insurance companies. From 2006-2007, Ms. Sergi practiced with the law firm of Widmer-Eby & Associates in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Mollianne Starcher - Attorney for Students
JD, West Virginia University College of Law, 1997; M.A., Foreign Languages, West Virginia University, 1993, B.A., West Virginia University, 1991. Ms. Starcher has worked in the Student Legal Services Office of WVU since January 1998. Ms. Starcher clerked for the law firm of Fusco and Newbraugh, L.C. from 1995-1997. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Starcher taught in the Intensive English Program at WVU from 1991-1993. Ms. Starcher was elected to the Star City Council in 1999 and continues to serve as Councilwoman to the Town of Star City. Ms. Starcher has also served as the Chapter Advisor to the Alpha Phi sorority since 1998.
